"We had a lovely breakfast at Honeycomb Tearoom on a Tuesday morning during our stay at the Point A hotel across the street. The place looked quiet at first, but soon others joined to enjoy the delicious breakfast at this place. We order scrambled eggs on toast with bacon and salmon. The bread was perfect and the eggs so fluffy! The owner seems to run the place by herself and cooked all the meals while serving her guests, which is quite impressive. Definitely recommend for a good breakfast to start your day in Edinburgh and as said, a great (and cheaper!) alternative for the breakfast buffet at the Point A hotel."
"Lovely quirky little tearoom, a fantastic range of teas. Probably one of the best full English breakfasts I’ve had for a while and the scrambled eggs with cherry tomatoes and spring onions were delicious. Really tasty and Excellent value for money. Will definitely return"
"I had the savory waffle with avocado, salmon, eggs and waffle - it was super good, and very filling! The eggs was a bit overcooked, but that didn't take away from how good it tasted. My boyfriend had French toast with bacon and syrup and that was tasty as well.
Very cute little place!"
