"Would give ZERO STARS if I could. I asked for a cone of chips. The man at the counter suggested I buy a bag of chips instead as he had one wrapped up already. He tried hard to convince me but I told him I only wanted FRESH HOT chips in a cone. He then walked aside and pretended to make up a new cone of chips. I could clearly see him opening the old bag of chips and filling up the cone. He then handed this over to me and LIED that they were fresh. He then ignored me when I told him I had seen what he had done. Surely at a time like this you should be working even harder at maintaining your customer service , not LYING AND PASSING OLD FOOD AS NEW ! Definitely not something that trading standard would approve of!! Haven’t been happy with the food here before but thought I would give it one more chance as it’s a local business. WE WILL NO LONGER BE COMING BACK. APPALLING SERVICE, DISGUSTING COLD FOOD. I’m guessing the shop will try and respond to my review and justify themselves. However you blatantly lied to my face and then ignored me when I questioned you, so don’t bother replying to this review !! i highly recommend everyone to use the chip shop on old Lode lane instead. Have never had issues with them. Wont be making the mistake of trying another place again."
