Feedback

"What a wonderful evening me and the hubster had last night. The warmest of welcomes from all the staff. Paula and her husband are just the loveliest couple and the food was great (omg the calamari was soooo good). We are looking forward to being regulars."

"Well what can I say about this place, just shocking on every level. We booked a party of 8 including 3 children for 8pm and arrived on time. There were two tables already occupied outside. The place is small and we were sat on a large table just inside the entrance. A bit cramped and uncomfortable, the seats are hard and the cushions damp like they’d had a spillage. There wasn’t much room for staff to get in and out passed us. We placed our drinks order first and then waited about 30 mins to place our food order and then we waited and waited some more. At about 9.30 we were getting concerned and had still not had any food. We complained and were told they were short staffed. The young waitress was monosyllabic and not much help and the male waiter just kept apologising and promising our food was on its way. Eventually the food order came out in dribs and drabs, couple of tapas dishes to keep us quiet. Not good, my calamari tasted like it had just come from the local Tesco freezer section and the bread sticks (tiniest I have ever seen) and olives were pitiful. The ham and cheese board when it eventually arrived was poor and the prawns tasted ‘dodgy’. We eventually gave up the ghost and decided to leave and not tempt fate by eating any more and went to find the nearest takeaway as by now it was 10pm and the children hadn’t eaten a thing. We only had to pay for the drinks which was a small conciliation for ruining a family get together. Faulty towers springs to mind. We are not habitual complainers and gave the owners every opportunity to make things right but instead it just got worse. Our patience was stretched to the limit. We were not the only disappointed table either and spoke with the people outside who’d had a similar experience but were able to joke about just how poor the service was. Faulty towers springs to mind. One of the worst dining experiences we have ever had to endure. Do not go there. Shocking !"
