"Service is shocking, atmosphere of a morgue. The woman who runs it is devoid of a personality and completely rude. Food is ok but hit and miss. Be prepared to wait an hour for your starters. Theyre too tight to employ people or the ones who did work here have left. Old and dusty, place is dirty and she has the cheek to ask you to anibac when you come in. Place needs ripped out and refurbed. Like a bad 80s flashback with tacky chinese antiques."
"Haven't been to the New Mandarin House since lockdown started in 2020. It was a spur of the moment to go out and I must say well worth it. Usually I woukd eat Chinese food but on this occasion I wanted to try the Fillet Steak. I was not disappointed. It came with chips , mushrooms, peas and onions and the most beautiful gravy. My steak was cooked to perfection and I woukd go as far as to say it's the best I have had in a very long time. Absolutely delicious."
