"Worse beef stew I've ever had! A bowl of peas & carrots in gravy with 2 small cubes of potato & 3 small bits of beef in it. Menu said beef stew and dumplings but there was only one of them. It was served with a rock hard brick of ciabatta sticking out of the bowl, which was too tough to cut to spread the pack of better. Very, very disappointing. Bar staff were very friendly & polite, but no one came to ask us how our meal was after they served us. Would not eat here again!"
"Well went with the family for a meal today, after reading the reviews we were expecting great food, couldn’t be more wrong. Our son had the mixed grill and was asked how he would like his steak, medium rare he said, when it arrived it was like an old boot, the salad it came with I wouldn’t have given to our rabbit. I had the steak pie which looked and tasted like it had been ‘warmed up ‘ more than once. The fish & chips, clearly frozen and heated. The kids pizza again frozen and semi-heated we sent this back twice, because they couldn’t melt the cheese! In the end most of the food we left. We did get a discount but that’s not the point. When you go out to eat and pay a reasonable price you expect freshly cooked food not reheated and frozen food."
